Trading Rules

Challenge Types

DNA Funded offers five challenge types to suit different trading styles and goals:

1 Phase – Complete one evaluation stage to reach the Funded Stage.
2 Phase – Complete an evaluation and a verification stage before reaching the Funded Stage.
Rapid (10 Days) – Complete the evaluation within 10 days to reach the Funded Stage.
Instant Funding – Skip the evaluation entirely and start trading funded immediately.
24-Hour – A fixed 24-hour challenge with multiplier-based payouts (2x, 5x, or 10x your entry fee).

Account Sizes & Fees

1 Phase: $5K–$200K | Fees from $59
2 Phase: $5K–$200K | Fees from $49
Rapid: $10K–$100K | Fees from $99
Instant Funding: $5K–$50K | Fees from $199
24-Hour: $20K account | Entry fees from $25

Maximum total capital allocation across all active accounts: $600,000.

Profit Targets (Assessment Stage)

1 Phase: 10% profit target
2 Phase: 8% (Evaluation) + 5% (Verification)
Rapid: 5% profit target
Instant Funding / 24-Hour: No profit target in evaluation

Risk Management Rules

Maximum Daily Drawdown: 4–6% of previous day's balance depending on challenge type (balance-based)
Maximum Static Drawdown: 5–8% of initial balance depending on challenge type
Instant Funding: 4% trailing drawdown applies in the Funded Stage
Inactivity Limit: Accounts must not be inactive for more than 30 consecutive days

Minimum Trading Days

1 Phase, 2 Phase, Rapid: 5 trading days per stage
Instant Funding: 5 days before first payout
24-Hour: No minimum days; 60-second minimum per trade

Profit Share & Payouts

Standard profit split: 80% to the trader (1 Phase, 2 Phase, Rapid, Instant Funding)
Optional 90% profit split available as a paid add-on
24-Hour: 100% of the multiplied entry fee (2x, 5x, or 10x)
Minimum payout: $100 (or $10 via crypto for 24-Hour)
First payout available: After 14 days from account opening
Profit cap: 5% of nominated bankroll per payout, applies to first 3 payouts only
Daily profit contribution limit: 30% of any single payout request
Payout processing: Typically within 24–48 hours of an approved request

Trading Platform

All challenges are conducted on TradeLocker. Account currency is USD.

Allowed & Prohibited Strategies

Allowed: Swing trading, Expert Advisors (EAs) on 1 Phase, 2 Phase and Rapid, VPN/VPS use (with risk team disclosure)
Not allowed: Hedging, High Frequency Trading (HFT), gap trading, arbitrage, account management by third parties, duplicate accounts or IP addresses, copy trading (Funded Stage)
Not allowed in Funded Stage: Martingale, scalping under 30 seconds, grid trading, tick scalping
News trading: No trades within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news events (Funded Stage)
Weekend trading: Allowed on 1 Phase and 2 Phase; not allowed on Rapid, Instant Funding, or 24-Hour
