José Luis Escrivá is the President of the Bank of Spain since 2024 and a member of the European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council, succeding Pablo Hernández de Cos. Before being appointed, Escrivá was minister for Digital Transformation and the Civil Services and Minister for Inclusion, Social Securtiy and Migration in the Spanish government.
