Excursion Lab
Replays recent trades against real bars for maximum adverse and favourable excursion, edge ratio, and how much of the move you captured.
About this widget
This is the only class of analytics that tells you how to change your stop and your target, rather than just telling you that you are losing. Maximum adverse and favourable excursion cannot be derived from the order record, so each trade is replayed against the actual bars it lived through, requested at your chosen resolution. Out of that: average MAE and MFE in R, the edge ratio between them, exit efficiency as the share of the available move you actually captured, and how long you held past the peak. The insight most people have not seen about their own trading is the stop suggestion. If nine out of ten of your winners never went more than 0.6R against you, every stop wider than that is buying room the winners never used, and paying for it with losses you did not need to take. It needs candle history. Where an account does not expose that to external tools, the panel says so plainly rather than showing an estimate.
