Momentum Heatmap
Twenty stochastic lengths as one colour ramp, plus a consensus line. Where they bunch every horizon agrees; where they fan out, they do not.
About this indicator
Checking momentum on one lookback tells you about one lookback. Checking it on twenty tells you whether the short and long term are pulling in the same direction, which is the thing you actually wanted to know. Twenty stochastic calculations run from your shortest length upward in fixed steps, drawn in a ramp from blue to red. The visual reads immediately: a tight bundle means every horizon agrees and the move has breadth, a fan means the fast horizons have turned while the slow ones have not, which is what the beginning and end of trends look like. A white consensus line averages all of them, and it is the one to hang an alert on. The number of lookbacks, the shortest length, the step between them and the smoothing are all adjustable. Drawing fewer than twenty simply leaves the extra lines empty rather than rescaling everything.
