Squeeze Pressure
Bollinger bands inside the Keltner channel mark the coil, and a regression histogram shows which way pressure builds while it winds.
About this indicator
When the Bollinger bands contract inside the Keltner channel, volatility has compressed and something is usually coming. The question that matters is which way. The histogram answers it. Momentum is the linear regression value of price measured against the midpoint of its own recent range, which leads the bands rather than confirming them after the fact. The squeeze state runs as a track along the zero line: amber while the market is coiling, grey once it has expanded, and a larger blue dot on the exact bar the squeeze releases. That release bar is the one worth an alert. All four components are separately configurable, so the classic 20 period, 2.0 and 1.5 setup is a starting point rather than a constraint. Shorter momentum lengths make the histogram turn earlier at the cost of more false turns.
